Three game lead. Craig Counsell is a starter. Prince Fielder is hitting like Craig Counsell. The only good part about the team right now is the starting pitching. Six games left against the Cubs; four at Philadelphia. I’m trying to stay away…
I’m not hitting it yet, but I’m fully aware of its whereabouts, and it’s less than an arm’s length away.
By the way, if Brian Shouse starts that ninth inning, the Crew wins easily. Not really a Ned thing–any manager would stubbornly use his closer (because he’s the closer!) but it doesn’t make it the right move.
