He needs to hold his hands higher and keep them higher until the ball is in the zone. he starts them low and by the time they are in a hitting position he is behind or just not ready to hit. He is has always done this, but has gotten away with it because of his youth and pure talent, but it has caught up with him. He need to move his hands up and his front elbow toward his body. Thants my take. I don’t know Numbers but I can see that his hands are not ready to hit.

Andy, not sure Carlos Lee would be worth it. Even with Houston eating 95% of his contract, he’s not even an .800 OPS guy anymore. Not worth it when you consider his awful defense.
